Sydney Paolercio received a BA in English - Editing, Writing, and Media with a minor in Film Studies from Florida State University. Now, she is pursuing an MFA in Film Production with a specialization in Production Design at FSU. Originally from Lakeland, Florida, she is a Tallahassee-based production designer, costume designer, and writer.

Beyond film, Sydney has been published in various indie magazines such as Unpublished Magazine and Sunstroke Magazine for creative fiction and non-fiction pieces. She was also the editor of the Views section at FSView & Florida Flambeau, Florida State University's student-run newspaper.

Sydney was raised in a Jamaican and Italian-American household. She was a ballet and modern dancer before pursuing a career as a writer and filmmaker.
